Me and My Boys....

Ewwww!

Look what Logan found. AND went green potty ALL over! Or so we thought it was potty. We learned it was in fact the caterpillars INTESTINES! Caterpillars spit up their intestines as a defense mechanism!  Don't worry! their intestines will grow back. And apparently there are no hard feelings. Logan is a loving boy. He washed his hands and made a very nice little home for his new little friend.

health kick

I have been interested in being a bit more healthy, and Brayden is following CLOSE behind, or rather shoving his way to the front line!

So I went and got a bunch of sample "green drink" packets to try and well....the first day I said nothing other than that it is supposed to be really healthy. I could only drink  HALF my cup, and had a discusting look on my face for about 10 lingering minutes. Brayden asked to try it, I assumed he saw me try to chug it....guess not. He took a sip, tears began to run down his cheek and he asked "why didn't you tell me I would like it? that it would be so nasty??" SORRY BUD! Well since then, we added some apple juice and He is so excited to try everyone. He is so brave! We also looked up how to grow wheat grass together and are in the process. SO FUN! I need a little motivator! And he definitely takes that job seriously :)

Connor is on this big "I wish" and "being bigger" kick. Not even sure he knows what it means exactly. :)

"I wish....Daddy I wish you could be a clown." -Connor

"Now I'm bigger, now I'm a Mommy!!" -Connor

While potty training I have been talking to Connor abou keeping that underwear dry, "cuz Elmo does NOT like getting wet." I thought is was working....until a couple days into it Connor informs me that "Elmo LIKES wets!....He really likes wet!!":) 

When I asked Brayden if he was talking KIND to his brother his response was,

"YES slash no." (what the?!!? Where did that come from?) Well we continued to have a nice chat about how you canNOT talk kind "SLASH" not kind at the same time. It's either one or the other. He really thought about that after and since I can tell he has not put up a fight about his tone as much. YAY!

"Mom, You're a handy WOMAN" - Brayden. 

Brayden is REALLY getting into the scriptures right now! ! Told us tonight " I would have so much more joy in my life if I read the scriptures ALL NIGHT LONG instead of went to sleep." Out of the mouth of a seven year old.:) He may just be trying to stay up late....but I'll take it!!:) 

Brayden was not feeling well, got out of bed and informed us that..... 

"I can't sleep because my ears are too keen." 

Our response, "say what?!?!(with a very, 'is he awake and really said what we think he said?'

look on our faces) 

 "My ears are too KEEN, I can hear EVERYTHING! Just like a dog. It's SO LOUD I just can't sleep. :(" .....so I guess he did know what he was talking about. 

I came home to a jar full of flowers on the kitchen table from my boys. Logan wanted me to know that "the Flowers are for YOU MOM. So you know that we LOVE YOU!" SWEET BOYS!! thanks making sure I knew Logan. xoxox 

Logan told Justin while driving the he wants to be a clown when he grows up. He said, "Jesus wants us to help people be happy, that why I want to be a clown....." then ".......When I grow up I can be a clown OR a daddy" Then after Justin explain that he could be both because he would need to make money he said "Oh, GOOD." Then asked Justin, "Do you wanna be a clown when you get bigger?"

Justin is so good to me! This is for YOU love. :) He came home and expressed to our children "so you know how wonderful your mom is? She sits down and plays legos with you for FOUR HOURS and now she is helping you to clean and organize your room....do you know how awesome your mom is?!?!....." I think the really AWESOME person is the one saying all these kind things about another. He does a great job telling me what a great job I am doing as a mother and wife. I can't remember a meal that he has not expressed gratitude to me for "making such a delicious meal."  He tells me often that I look beautiful. And he is ALWAYS helping me with ALL the house work and kids. He is a WONDERFUL Father and husband! I LOVE HIM DEARLY!

Rock Star/ Parents

How being a parent is like being a rock star!
(my cousin posted this on instagram and I think it's HILARIOUS!

1. Endless hours on the road with too many people in the vehicle.

2.Your job is to entertain a room full of LOUD, writhing MANIACS.

3. If you do your job well, people will ask when you'll produce more.

4. You ask yourself daily; "Am I tripping? Or did I really just see that?"

5. Your name is always shouted, never spoken,

6. Someone is always pulling at your clothes

7. Grouples follow you to the bathroom. 

Marry me....

The day before Connor told me he was gonna marry me logan made his move. So I sent him to his room...I think for hitting. Then when I can to chat with him about his behavior he melted my heart. "Mom, I like you. I really like you. When I get bigger, Im gonna marry you." explained that I would LOVE to marry him, but I was already married. Then went on to talk about him looking for a girl that was someone he would want to marry. Someone nice, happy.....etc. So he then as good with finding the girl of his dreams. It did not stop there. He wandered where Dad and I would live so he could have this girl meet me. "I'm gonna have her meet you so you 2 can be REALLY GOOD FRIENDS!Then we can come and visit you ALL the time." Then he tucked me in and let me have a little power nap!

Oh my sweet Logan. I will remind you of this one day, and hope that this girl and I will become the best of friends. Because I want to you visit ALL the time! Because I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

call me DOCTOR MOM.

My life as a mom consists of the following....this is what happened in 2 eveings. Needlss to day, My house has not had the attention it needs, and I have been rather tired but STILL stay up late so I can have some ME TIME.

Connor has some infection on his back side cheeks and whatever they are burst and fill hin underwear with....sorry.....blood. I have to put meds on them a couple times a day.

Connor is potty training on top of that.

Logan stepped on glass and his foot bled.

Brayden was climbing over the fence and slipped and his palm got all scraped up.

Connor got hit in the head with a shovel.......and a couple other things.

Dylan threw up 2 times, and had 2 explosive, leaking diarrhea diapers.

Dylan also burned 2 fingers from touching the inside metal part of the tire of one of our vans:(!  Burned and blistered! Poor little man!

STILL...I LOVE EM! They are so STINKIN SWEET TO ME!!
