the bad :(

Last day on our AMAZING Disney Cruise vacation Brayden was getting of a bus, the steps were wet from all the rain, and Brayden fell face first onto the street!! :( He was tough though! We were so proud of him.

one liners....

Brayden "Mom, I'm gonna have to walk around like this now."
Mom "LOL!! You COULD change your shorts...."
Brayden "Uh, no"
Apparently, the only LOGICAL thing to do when spilling a bowl of cereal on yourself is to shove a towel up your shorts. Good to know :)

 Brayden loves knowing everything. Somehow we got on the 'would you eat a bad guy' subject
 (I know...) during dinner. And Brayden very confidently pipes in with his 2 bits and says '' Well I definitely would not eat a bad guy because they drink alcohol and eat a lot of sugar so that would be REALLY bad for you.(I MAY be able to come up with a few more reasons why I may not EAT. A. BAD. GUY.  ) LOL

Driving around a parking lot Connor asks Justin "dad, are you looking for a fot?"
J-"Yes Connor, I'm looking for a FOT."
C-"OOoh, You're looking for a Fot"
That's just CUTE!


Logan- "My teacher is 100 years old. SHE'S a Grandma."
Mom- Why do you think she's a grandma Logan?"
Logan- "BECAUSE, she has a walking stick and she tips A LOT"

Funny Boys

I am convinced that boys just want grow up and be funny. And I am NOT opposed to laughing. There are good days to come :) Here are a few instances where my boys made me LOL without any effort on their part. I think they are off to a good start. Connor Connor LOVES his Vitamins. When he asks for them it sounds like spider man or superman (thats not the funny part, although it was at one time, until this...) Well I let him have 3 at once this time and I guess he didn't want to pop them in all at once, so he stashed them. WHERE he stashed them is what gave me a good case of the giggles. check it out :)

Logan Logan logan logan. This kid is funny. So we are in the car, driving back from Utah and I think being in a car for many hours just made this more funny than it already was. Logan asked over and over if he could hold the tv so I finally crawled back to unhook it from the seat and let him. (thinking the light from outside must have been glaring on the screen.) Boy was I wrong. He had something else in mind :) He's stylin! Do you agree?

Brayden Today he was playing at the neighbors when he came home trying to get me to buy a NuWave oven. Well I've seen the infomercial before, and I WAS sold the first time. But I resisted it once and I can do it again. I hope ;) so we talked about how we have an oven...and a crock pot and a pan that you can put in the oven to let the grease drain (he kept trying to sell me on that one). Without going into to much detail that brought Brayden to the realization that I was not going to purchase it. He decided we could build one (Seriously kid, I don't build ovens?!). He has always dreamed big, and today is no different. But I wasn't going to tell him he couldn't do it!!! Just like I told him, YES! Absolutely you can build the next big theme park (he already has rides thought out and they are in the blueprints) or Yes with a couple more weeks of practice with Dad you can be the next Steve Nash. ANYWAY, So here we are Building a NuWave oven together. I told him to draw a pic and figure out what we need and I will help him. Not kidding, he just came in to me with scissors to cut out some of my hair, Apparently he needs hair for this oven to work. And not just one piece. So I gave him what was in my brush. Anyone interested in the New and IMPROVED NuWave oven? Chack it out

Bragging rights

Yes, I deserve bragging rights. here goes.

At church Brayden gets TONS of treats from his teachers. We encourage him to share but ultimately it is his decision. Today he got a big delicious brownie. He offers some to each person and after my bite I tell him this is one of dads FAVORITE treats so of course he is so excited to share some with daddy. However, it is fast sunday and daddy tells him he would love some but he is fasting. So Brayden goes home, saves a bite for dad, puts it in a ziplock bag with a paper that says "to dad, from brayden, You can eat this tomorrow" WHAT A SWEET thing to do! (and this is not the first time he has done things like this)

In Fast and testimony meeting a woman is baring her testimony and starts to cry. A boy sitting on his dads lap,same age as Logan, asks "why is she crying?" Logan turns and says in a reverent but loud enough for the boy to hear him voice says "she's feeling the spirit"...exactly:)

20 questions...more like a THOUSAND! :)

I'm sure most go through this game with their kids on a daily basis, we DEFINITELY are with each child. And we try to think that SOME day they might not want to talk to us so we should EAT this up, but sometimes silence just sounds SO APPEALING! :) Anyway, it is funny when they Realize they are doing it.

Justin took Logan and Connor to walk around the Temple one day and Logan has started the game and is asking some really deep, good (some not so deep) questions when he stops and asks, "Daddy? Why do I ask you SO MANY QUESTIONS?" HAHA! Now THAT'S a good question! :)

Willing to admit it....:)

Logan comes over to me as we are playing in the park and says, "Mom, You have big feet" And my response was, "Logan, you have a big bum." Logan says "ya I do, and I have a big head too." I'm just glad he's willing to admit the truth with confidence. I couldn't help but laugh out loud. :)

Logan, you're perfect size! I LOVE YOU!
